In 1986, Annie Chen Song became a part of HLS Architects after graduating from the University of Maryland. She later attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Master of Architecture in 1990. Immediately after completing her education, she returned to HLS and became a registered architect in 1993. Annie is well known by our clients for her exceptional ability to listen and respond to their needs, as well as her sensitivity to building a long-term relationship with the people that she works with. As a well-rounded architect, she has successfully led and managed the design of multiple large-scale projects since joining the company. Meticulous and talented in many ways, she is capable of making great contributions from the inception through completion of each project. In addition to serving HLS, Annie was appointed to the Rockville City Planning Commission in 1995, where she served as a distinguished member for two years.
