In 1964, the completion of this unique apartment-hotel dramatically altered the appearance and atmosphere of Washington Circle. The building was designed with 156 apartment units and 30 hotel units as well as a restaurant and cocktail lounge on the mezzanine level, featuring large rooftop terraces for the tenants and a relaxed European style of architecture that pleasantly contrasts with the bustle of Washington Circle.
