Vista International Hotel

A grand 14-story glass-and-concrete building completed in 1982, Vista International Hotel is located in a convenient and exciting site in the heart of Washington DC, opening directly onto M Street through an impressive glass entrance. At the center of the building is a multi-story atrium that spans from the ground level entrance to the domed glass roof and provides shimmering natural light throughout the center of the building. Directing attention inward, the hotel's 413 bedrooms surround an indoor courtyard and a freestanding 8-story tower in the center of the opening, which holds the hotel's 6 suites, each occupying a full level and boasting interior designs by the renowned couturier, Hubert de Givenchy. The tower also houses the main bar and cocktail lounge, surrounded by additional lounge areas and restaurants, from which the atrium creates a courtyard atmosphere. From the quaint 12-foot clock tower and streetlamps on the ground level to the lines of bay windows and glass balconies soaring 170 feet overhead, Vista International boldly combines an urban square appeal with luxurious indoor comfort and elegance.
