The first of twelve buildings to be constructed in the Leisure World of Virginia, the Riverbend opened for occupancy in March of 1998. The Riverbend houses 231 units within its 11-story building, overlooking the Potomac River and Blue Ridge Mountains, thus providing breathtaking views for its adult residents while remaining near to the excitement and conveniences of Washington, DC and its metropolitan area.
